How to Avoid Embarrassing Your Children

Never sing the oldies or listen to rap in front of your kids. They get embarrassed hearing how badly you sing, especially when they have a party.
Do not mess around with the songs that your kids enjoy and sing. Remember, even if you are a good singer, they do not enjoy watching you dance along or ruin their favorite music. This applies especially for genres such as metal or rock. Simply put, most parents just can't sing like Bon Scott or Tom Araya.
3. Act your age, do not go down to their level, or use weird or silly words or expressions. While that "naughty noodle" or "honky dory" might have been spoken when you were young, but to the kids, it is just embarrassing to hear.
